STAINED GLASS ARTIST
Gordon McWhirter Webster was a distinguished Scottish stained glass artist. From his studio in Glasgow he produced more than 200 stained glass windows. These are to be found all over Scotland, and as far afield as Chile, South Africa, and Singapore. He followed in the footsteps of his father, also an eminent stained glass artist. Alf’s life was cut tragically short when he died of his wounds, at the age of 32, serving with the Gordon Highlanders in the First World War.
