Tim Burford is a travel writer, based in Cambridge UK. He was educated at Bryanston School and New College Oxford. Since 1991 he has been writing and updating guidebooks, mainly for Bradt Travel Guides and the Rough Guides, and spending his summers leading hikers in the Alps for an American company. His blog, Unravel Travel, vividly describes his travels to many parts of the world, including Argentina, Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, Croatia, France, Georgia, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Kosovo, Laos, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Morocco, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay, USA, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
