MAKER OF unusual vehicles
Yannick Read is a maker of small and unusual vehicles, many associated with the bicycle. These include a tiny caravan, which has been accepted into the Guiness Book of Records as the world’s smallest caravan. Also a bicycle gritter, and a flying bicycle. He has a particular interest in the classic Citroen van, and has built them in miniature as coffee stalls, cocktail bars, and children’s beds.
This life story was compiled in 2025 by Alex Reid at the suggestion of his son Philip.
