Frank Duffy, born 1940
ARCHITECT & pRESIDENT OF THE RIBA
Francis Duffy trained as an architect at the Architectural Association in London. He won a Harkness Scholarshp to Princeton University, where he obtained his PhD. He founded the architecture and space planning firm DEGW with Peter Eley, Luigi Giffone, and John Worthington. DEGW became an international leader in its field, with offices in eight countries. Duffy was prolific author on the design of office buildings, and served as President of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
