vicar and social activist
Colin Hodgetts MBE is an ordained priest in the Church of England who has spent his life in social activism. He was born in Jersey, and spent four years there under German occupation. He was educated at St. David’s College Lampeter, Ripon Hall Oxford, and the Institute for Education in London. In addition to several tenures as a parish priest, he was the first Director of the Christian Action charity. He also played a key role, on behalf of Save the Children, in re-settling Vietnamese refugees into the UK.
